This adventure plan is crafted for adrenaline junkies ready to immerse themselves in Ireland’s rugged scenery with unforgettable experiences. We also stay in some of the most comfortable hotels in Ireland.
Day 1: Dublin to Galway – Coasteering in Connemara
Accommodation: Ballynahinch Castle, Galway
Activities:
- Morning departure from Dublin, heading west to Galway.
- Continue to Ballyconneely for a guided coasteering adventure: scramble, swim, and cliff-jump along the rugged Atlantic coast.
- Relax in Ballynahinch Castle, an old hunting lodge which is both rustic and elegant.
Day 2: Aran Islands – 4x4 Off-Road Experience
Accommodation: The Hardiman Hotel, Galway
Activities:
- Take the ferry to Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands.
- Embark on a private 4×4 tour to discover hidden beaches, ancient forts, and the island’s wild beauty.
- Return ferry to Galway for the evening.
Day 3: Galway to Dingle via Clare – Sheepdog Demonstration & Cliffs of Moher
Accommodation: Benners Hotel, Dingle
Activities:
- Drive south through the Burren to Caherconnell for a live sheepdog demonstration.
- Explore the lunar landscapes of the Burren.
- Visit the Cliffs of Moher for panoramic Atlantic views and cliff walks.
Day 4: Dingle – E-Biking Slea Head & Sea Safari
Accommodation: Dingle Skellig Hotel, Dingle
Activities:
- Journey to the Dingle Peninsula.
- E-bike the Slea Head loop, taking in ancient beehive huts, dramatic cliffs, and sweeping ocean vistas.
- Afternoon Dingle Sea Safari: a fast RIB boat tour to the Blasket Islands, with opportunities to spot dolphins, puffins, and seals.
- Enjoy Dingle’s vibrant food and music scene.
Day 5: Dingle to Killarney – Gap of Dunloe by Horse & Cart
Accommodation: Killarney Park Hotel, Killarney
Activities:
- Drive to Killarney National Park.
- Journey by traditional horse and cart (jaunting car) through the spectacular Gap of Dunloe.
- Continue by open boat across Killarney’s lakes to Ross Castle.
- Evening free in Killarney town.
Day 6: Killarney to Dublin – Scenic Return
Accommodation: (Tour ends in Dublin; optional final night at The Merrion Hotel, Dublin)
Activities:
- Leisurely breakfast in Killarney.
- Scenic drive back to Dublin, with optional stops in charming villages or the Wicklow Mountains.
